Bataille

My botanical sculptures blur the boundaries between art and nature, reimagining plant life as sculptural form. Drawing inspiration from landscapes both wild and cultivated, my work explores the poetic tension between organic growth and human intervention. Each piece is an interplay of structure and fluidity, where roots, branches, and foliage become dynamic elements in a larger narrative of transformation.

Engaging with design, architecture, and fine art, my practice resonates with collectors, galleries, and visionaries who see plants not just as decor but as living sculptures. My botanical works evoke the meditative beauty of Japanese gardens, the raw energy of untamed wilderness, and the precision of contemporary design—each creation a dialogue between time, materiality, and space. Whether installed in private residences, galleries, or collaborative projects, my sculptures invite an intimate encounter with nature, challenging perceptions of what is cultivated, what is wild, and where art begins.

C.V.

I create botanical sculptures that explore the dynamic relationship between nature, design, and space. By transforming plant life into sculptural compositions, my work balances the organic with the intentional, blurring the boundaries between the wild and the curated. Through site-specific installations and collaborations, I craft immersive environments that deepen our connection to the natural world. My work has been showcased across Los Angeles in group exhibitions such as Tiempo Tempio, A Space In Between, and Bataille-Cross-Deceres-Koharik, engaging collectors, architects, and designers who view plants not just as decor, but as living, evolving art.

The process is intuitive and material-driven, with plants transformed into sculptural forms that feel both spontaneous and thoughtfully composed. Each piece explores balance, structure, and organic movement, blurring the line between the cultivated and the wild.

This approach has garnered attention from galleries and design spaces across Los Angeles, including The Future Perfect, Studio Balestra, and Stock Studio, where the work resonates with collectors, architects, and interior designers who appreciate botanical sculpture as a meaningful component of space.
